Pittsburg vs. Baltimore has been removed from the Thursday slate, leaving us with Houston vs. Detroit, and Washington vs. Dallas. From a DFS perspective, I really like getting as much exposure to the Houston and Detroit game as possible, in what I expect to be a shootout between two bottom-tier defenses.

DraftKings Best Plays:

  • Deshaun Watson, $7,400 — the most expensive quarterback on the slate, but I don’t mind paying up and will have Watson in the majority of my lineups. Watson has been very impressive, tallying 24 or more DraftKings points in 3 of his last 4 games.
  • Ezekiel Elliot, $6,800 — a chalky play that could be a let down in a tough matchup against Washington’s front-line. Zeke had 21 carries last week for 103 yards, and I expect Zeke to eat in a game where Dalton should see tons of pressure.
  • Antonio Gibson, $6,000 — with Swift declared out, I like pivoting to Gibson, who ran all over Dallas for 128 yards and a touchdown in their Week 7 meeting.
  • Will Fuller V, $6,400 — Fuller is a must-play, with one of the safest floors and highest ceilings on the slate. Fuller has double-digit DraftKings points in all but 1 game this season and should feast on a porous Detroit secondary.
  • Marvin Jones, $5,500 — Jones has been shaky this season, but has seen a reemergence with Golladay sidelined. Jones has 9 or more DraftKings points in 5 straight games.
  • Brandin Cooks, $5,300 — Cooks should see extra looks with Randall Cobb out. Cooks has 9 ore more DraftKings points in 6 consecutive games.
  • TJ Hockenson, $4,700 — With Golladay out, Hockenson should be the top redzone target. I like Hockenson to score at least one touchdown and receive extra targets in what should be a shootout.
  • Amari Cooper, $5,700 — Cooper has been Andy Dalton’s most targeted receiver, and he should be the focal point of the passing game today.
  • Washinton D/ST, $3,700 — the most expensive defense on the slate and for good reason. Washington scored 17 DraftKings points in their week 7 game against Dallas.
